We had just half the day in Amsterdam before getting our train home and had decided that we wanted to do a boat trip. It was worth doing. Just an hour on the canals, with the commentary gave us a much better feel for the city. Unfortunately the weather wasn‘t great again and this probably affected our photography. In other words no photos! We would like to come back and explore Amsterdam some more.

Following a light lunch we headed for the station and our train. It was a relief to find it was running and on time! However as we neared Brussels we came to a stop. There was a problem up ahead! Needless to say we missed our London connection but fortunately were rebooked onto the next Eurostar. From there we got our train to Ipswich where Ali picked us up.
