Thursday 21st March 2019 - to Perth

Moving on day again today, so up early to get the 9.20 flight from Ayers Rock back east to Alice Springs, then a half hour to wait to board the same plane and go back west, flying over Uluru to get to Perth! Our final destination on this trip! 😢 This flight was about 3 1/2 hours and the scenery beneath us barely changed. There was some cloud cover at times but essentially nothing changed! This is an enormous country!

It was lovely to be picked up by Anne and to be taken to her home. It has been a while since she last visited us in the UK so there has been a lot of talking through the rest of the day. However we did find time to take a trip down to the sea, just a 5 minute drive away to look at the Indian Ocean and have a paddle! We went to Mullaloo beach which has lovely white sand and a beach that goes on for miles!

Later in the evening (for us), Alex sorted out a Face Time session with Mum and Anne which was lovely!
