Saturday 16th February 2019 - Queenstown

The first lazy start of this trip. Our accommodation gives us an en-suite room then a shared kitchen and lounge area. This meant we could get up and get our own breakfast when we wanted!

Priority number one though was getting the washing done, but once that was all sorted we wandered into town. First stop was the craft market down by the lake. Lots of lovely things we could buy but we still have weeks to carry everything. Maybe a couple of small purchases were made 😳

Queenstown is so busy after the places we have been this last 12 days. I’m not sure I like all this hubbub! However it did provide us with the shop we needed to get Anna her replacement beanie! She is a happy young lady today!

Lunch in town and a lazy afternoon followed by dinner at a steakhouse. My appetite still thinks I am walking and carrying a heavy pack so I will need to be careful! It’s been great being able to eat knowing that it will all get burned off!
