About 18 months ago someone in the travel industry said that if you were ever going to travel business class to do it on the longest flight you were ever likely to do. New Zealand seemed to fit that bill! But I also read an article that advised never to go business class as you would never want to go back to economy afterwards! On Thursday evening Michael said we would absolutely love business class!! He was right! It is a totally different experience of flying. From the space to the food, the calmness of everything to chatting with the captain as we both queued for the loo this morning! And we have only done half the journey. Economy will be hard to take for most of our journeys on this trip.

So we have arrived in Hong Kong! It is just as I had imagined.High rises everywhere! It’s bustling and crowded. 7.4million people live in a tiny area of land.

We are shattered, despite the luxury of business class we didn’t sleep well and not the night before either as we were both too wired! So we have had a nap, a shower and change of clothes and are off out to explore Kowloon and find somewhere to eat.
